Q. What happens if I have a fault with my unit after the warranty period of 12 months?

A. We’ve designed and tested these units for use over 25 years withstanding in a normal working environment. If you do have a fault, we provide an affordable repair service, generally less than $35 [including postage both ways], and our repair staff can fix your unit within 3 days [within Australia]. For example, if you drop something heavy on the unit, and the shell dents heavily, the cost of repair is $30, and we give you the postage label to send it back to us, and we return it to you within 3-5 days. We always keep all spare parts, for all our models, so we will always be able to fix every issue.

Q. Do you provide after sales-service, and how do I contact you?

A. For many online businesses, both domestic and international ones, after-sales service is poor. We reply to 98% of customer emails within 24 hours, and we work to resolve each of them as soon as possible. We are based in Australia, and are easy to deal with. You can contact us via phone – through our ‘request a call back’ feature, where you give us your name and phone number, and we ring you back as soon as we are available to, within 24 hours.

Q. Do I need a licensed electrician to install this product?

A. No, no electrical work is needed to install this product. We have designed the unit with a standard Australian plug, allowing you to plug the unit into any other power point [bellow your installation surface]

Q. Does this product meet Australian electrical standards?

A. Yes, we have tested and certified all our products to meet SAA standards in Australia. Our test reports and certificates are available on our website.

Q. What is the warranty that is included with the product, and what is the process that is involved in making a warranty claim?

A. We include 12 months warranty. If your product malfunctions within 12 months, we will repair or replace it for you free of charge. We will cover both [2-way] postage costs, and repair or replace the unit within 5 days. We keep digital receipts matched with product serial numbers for every order, so don’t worry about keeping the transaction receipt. All we require for a warranty claim is a confirmation of your name, address and an approximate date of purchase. From this, you will need to pack the unit securely, and we will send you a prepaid postage label to stick onto the unit. You will then be required to drop the unit off at an Australia Post retail outlet. Once we receive the unit, we will match its serial number with your receipt, and repair the fault, then send it back to you between 3-5 days.

When will my item be dispatched?


Orders are dispatched each weekday from our warehouses across Australia.


Your order will be dispatched within 1-3 business days of order placement. If there are any delays from this timeframe, then we will do our best to contact you to advise of this.


How long will it take to get to me?


As a general rule, if you live in or near a capital city in Victoria or New South Wales you will usually receive your order within 1 week.


Alternatively if you live in or near a capital city in Queensland, Tasmania, South Australia, Western Australia, or the Northern Territory you will receive your order within 1-2 weeks.


Delivery to regional and remote areas can take a little longer, however usually no longer than 12 business days.

What day/time will it be delivered?


Unfortunately, we can't give you an exact day and time your order will arrive as this will be determined by the courier's transit times and trucking schedules.


Will I get a tracking number?


Consignment tracking details will be sent to you within 24 hours of your order leaving our warehouse. You will be able to track your order through the carrier's website.


The expected delivery time given by each courier is for reference only. Delivery might take longer than expected due to various reasons.


If you do not receive your item within 10 business days, please contact our customer service team.


Can I leave a note for the courier?


Yes. During the checkout process you can leave a note which will be added to the delivery instructions for your order.


Please note: After your order has been dispatched from our warehouse you will need to call the courier directly on the numbers provided above to add any notes to your order.


Can the courier call me before delivery?


As some of the couriers we use are contractors, there is no guarantee they will have the facilities to call you on the day of delivery.


Your best bet is to leave a note to call you during checkout anyway. Or alternatively, have your item shipped to your work address where someone will be available to sign for it.


What if no one is home to receive my order?


If no one is home and there is a secure and dry place to leave your order, then the driver may leave your item(s).


If there's no safe place they will leave a calling card and you can call them to arrange a re-delivery date.


In the unlikely event that your parcel is returned to us due to there being an inaccurate address or it being rejected by a receiver, our customer service representative will contact you via email.


A re-delivery cost may occur for any products that are returned to us due to incomplete addresses.


Can you deliver to my postcode?


Most items on Bit Shopping can be shipped to most areas of Australia.

What happens if my item is faulty?


Bit Shopping offers a 12 month warranty on all products, unless stated otherwise.


You are required to notify Bit Shopping within 10 working days in the unlikely event that the item arrives damaged or faulty.


If you would like to process a warranty claim please email us at hello@bitshopping.com.au including your order number and as many detailed notes about the fault(s) and also attach some pictures, or possibly a short video clip, of the issue.


Our warranties team will then assess your claim and be in contact about the next steps. Please do not attempt to return your item without approval.


A refund or replacement will not be provided if products are being misused, mishandled or mistakenly installed. Customers are responsible for following the instructions and advice given by the manufacturers.


What if part of my item is broken or missing?


Bit Shopping can often provide replacement parts for your order if something happens to be broken or missing.


Please circle the part(s) which need replacing on the assembly instructions and send us a photo with your order number to hello@bitshopping.com.au to ensure the correct parts are sent.


In the event that we cannot source the individual parts for your order we will offer you a full replacement or suitable compensation.


What if it is only minor defect?

What if I change my mind and don't want the product I ordered?


We understand that circumstances change so if you would like to discuss a return due to a change of mind please contact us first at hello@bitshopping.com.au quoting your order number.


Any unused products must be returned to our warehouse in their original, unopened packaging and there may be a minor restocking fee calculated on your item dimensions, weight, and your area. Note that we cannot accept returns for a 'change of mind' reason type on mattresses and bedding items for hygiene reasons. Please choose carefully.


We will email you a return label and will refund your purchase minus the restocking fee once the item is returned to our warehouse.
